Social housing procurement provider NHMF Frameworx sponsored the GO Awards’ Excellence in Social Value award and surprised the winners with the announcement of a £3,000 donation each to support their ongoing efforts. 

Head of Frameworx, Paul Smith, explains more:  “Procurex and the associated GO Awards is one of the best events in the public sector calendar, and this year, NHMF Frameworx was proud to be among the exhibitors and sponsors of the social value categories. 

“Social value is something we are genuinely passionate about, and the event provides us a rare opportunity to celebrate the incredible work being delivered across the public sector and beyond.

• Durham County Council – winners of the Excellence in Social Value Award – Local Government and Housing Organisations, for the County Durham Pound, an outstanding example of place-based social value in action.

“Each submission showed the breadth, ambition and real-life impact that social value can have when it is properly embedded, and it was a real honour to present the awards on the evening. What made it even more special was announcing that we would donate £3,000 to each winner to help them continue and build on their fantastic work. 
 
“For us, this is what being not-for-profit is all about. When we say that NHMF Frameworx reinvests surplus back into the sector, we mean it, and we were pleased to use our social value fund, accumulated from our surplus, to directly support projects that are already delivering meaningful outcomes for people, places and communities.
