NHMF Frameworx, the not-for-profit procurement solution uniquely associated with the National Housing Maintenance Forum and M3NHF Schedule of Rates, has expanded its board with the appointment of two Non-Executive Directors: Danny Bird and Jody Adams.
Both new directors work for leading housing providers and are experts in their fields.
Danny Bird, a housing repairs consultant and Chartered Housing Professional, is the Interim Assistant Director of Regulated Delivery for Aster, specialising in compliance assurance, service transformation, and operational performance across regulated services. Danny comments: “I work with social landlords to strengthen repairs and maintenance delivery, with expertise in damp and mould, Awaab’s Law, and regulatory compliance. I’m delighted to be joining the NHMF Frameworx board at such an important time for the sector. Effective procurement has a critical role to play in enabling safe, high quality repairs and maintenance services, particularly as expectations around compliance and resident outcomes continue to rise. For me, what really sets NHMF Frameworx apart is it’s not for profit ethos, ensuring surpluses are reinvested into social value, training and the wider sector, rather than taken as profit. Jody Adams is Group Director of Procurement & Supplier Relationship Management at Peabody. Having worked in public sector procurement for 29 years, Jody has deep expertise in public procurement law, leading and overseeing strategy, policies, processes and systems that drive value for money and support organisational goals. He leads a high-performing team, manages complex supply chains, and ensure robust governance and compliance. Jody comments: “Taking up the Non-Executive Director role at NHMF Frameworx is a great opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with an organisation that aligns with my own goals which ultimately improve outcomes for social housing residents. I’m excited to be able to give the client’s perspective on the Frameworx offering, ensuring that it meets the need of the social housing sector.”
