NHMF NPC Frameworx, the only social housing procurement solution that’s aligned with the M3NHF Schedule of Rates, has hit a significant milestone: £160million of works has been procured through the not-for-profit organisation.
David Miller, NHMF NPC Frameworx Director, discusses: “We’re absolutely delighted to have hit this significant milestone in a relatively short period of time. Since we were established in 2022 in association with the National Housing Maintenance Forum, we’ve been working hard to create a comprehensive procurement solution with a difference: we’re a not-for-profit organisation that’s committed to promoting best practice, social value and our communities. Reaching this significant milestone means we can really start to focus investment back into promoting initiatives to raise the standard of social housing in the UK.
Frameworx choice
“Works have been procured across all our 11 live agreements which cover Planned and Responsive Maintenance, Net Zero Works, Passive Fire Works, Consultancy Services, Materials Supply, Heating Services, Estate Services, Communal Mechanical & Electrical and Disability Adaptations. This year we’re expanding our portfolio by enhancing Estate Services with Soft Facilities Management options as well as adding specialist Damp, Mould and Condensation, Subcontractor, Vehicles and Security, Access, and Life Support Systems Framework Agreements to the mix.
“With NPC Frameworx, works can be procured through either Direct Award or Mini-Competition by anyone that subscribes to the M3NHF Schedule of Rates or are a Contracting Authority in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and it’s been great to work through both examples with various organisations.
Keeping it simple
“As well as ensuring we have a comprehensive list of agreements, Frameworx also aims to provide a fully compliant, simple to use and flexible procurement solution that housing providers and Registered Social Landlords can use to engage with an expert and committed supply chain. We’ve highlighted the simplicity with this handy ‘How to Procure through Frameworx’ one pager, available here https://www.nhmfframeworx.org.uk/members/.
“We also offer a highly competitive maximum 1.5% fee, efficiencies and scales of economy through both traditional framework approaches and Dynamic Purchasing Systems, access to an established and engaged supply chain with access to the UK’s leading suppliers who share our values, all supported by an experienced team who want to work closely with the supply chain, rather than simply be administrators of a transactional process.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with the success we’ve collectively achieved and to be closing off 2024 in such a positive position. We look forward to continuing to work with our expert Approved Providers and many of the leading Registered Social Landlords as our pipeline and product offering continues to grow.”
