Thank you to everyone who came to visit our stand at Housing 2025. As first-time exhibitors in our own right, David Miller and Paul Smith had a fantastic couple of days and many, many conversations about the difference NHMF Frameworx is bringing to procurement.
New kids on the block
There was a real buzz on the stand as clients and contractors alike were keen to hear more about the Frameworx solution and the framework options we provide, particularly the new 2025 agreements that are based on the newly launched V8 M3NHF Schedule of Rates.
The demand for our fresh approach — focused on honesty and transparency, delivered by procurement professionals, and with a levy capped at just 1.5% — was real and “desperately needed”.

Taking to the stage
For Head of Frameworx, Paul Smith, this was the first time representing Frameworx to the market. He certainly made his mark in both the exhibition and seminar halls.
As well as meeting clients and providers on the stand throughout the event, Paul also joined the panel in two sessions on the conference programme.
First up was “How is the sector preparing for Awaab’s Law?” which was facilitated by Anna Highfield (Best Practice Editor at Inside Housing) alongside panellists Sophie Tuffin (Service Manager at New Forest District Council), Sian Le Gallais (Head of Service planned maintenance, compliance, asset management at Fairhive Homes), and Andrew Sturgess (Regional Director – Aico). It was a great opportunity to discuss how NHMF Frameworx is supporting clients to deal with the challenges the sector is facing with the brand-new Damp, Mould and Condensation framework that has been designed specifically to help clients to procure for the solutions they need tackle the crisis and get ahead of Awaab’s Law in October.
The second panel Paul joined was the “Modernising tenant engagement and increasing participation” session on Wednesday afternoon. Alongside Gareth Iveson (Relationship Manager at Aico), Sarah Mitton (Head of Customer Engagement at SNG), Nia Evans (Play:Disrupt), Dominic Higgins (Director at Rand Associates Consultancy Services) and Maureen Bristow (Chair of tenants forum, Hull City Council), the discussion explored community engagement. It was such a great session bringing together differing perspectives that all highlighted the same thing: the critical importance of engaging our communities in everything we do because put simply – those closest to problems are often those closest to the solution.
